Eye Before You

When I set out to create a blog, my goal was to simply share my experiences. Share what i’ve learned along the way, but more importantly, to share the journey of taking pictures. I call it a journey because, for me, it starts with the itch. The itch is always there. I don’t always act on it, but everything I see, I see through the eye of a photographer. I see shapes and lines and colors. I see light and shadows. I’m constantly “framing” what I see. I notice how things line up or if they’re askew.
To really share the experience, it’s important to talk about all of the senses, though. Sight, sound smell, taste and touch.
