States

Browse a growing archive of photographs organized by state, built one place at a time through observations gathered along the way.

Browse by State

These are the states currently represented in Eye Before You. Each one leads to places I’ve photographed and written about so far. The structure is geographic, but the work itself is driven less by coverage than by attention — by the buildings, streets, light, color, and small details that gave each place its character.

Connecticut

Cities, shoreline, and older built spaces seen through texture, structure, and quiet detail.

New Hampshire

Main streets, industrial remnants, and urban moments shaped by restraint, order, and changing light.

Vermont

Main streets, industrial remnants, and urban moments shaped by restraint, order, and changing light.

Maine

Coastal towns, inland stops, and working landscapes shaped by weather, distance, and light.

Pennsylvania

Layered streets, older cities, and industrial history where texture and wear stay close to the surface.

Mill towns, city streets, old facades, and working landscapes observed one detail at a time.

Rhode Island

Compact cities, waterfront edges, and industrial textures where light and structure carry the frame.

New states will be added as they become part of the project.
